March Clay Day

Having had our booking at Greenside cancelled at short notice, we were very fortunate to have the use of Warwick Community Hall just a short distance away. This was a cosy hall that had the perfect ambiance for our small group.There was lots of laughter and jollity as we worked with our inspirational images. Looking at the results, the exercise proved to be fruitful and creative. No doubt we will repeat this exercise. On the show and tell table we had a diverse collection of items to marvel at and enquire about. Our next Clay Day is coming up - it's on Sunday 25th March... PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF VENUE!! Details below... For our March Clay Day, we are looking at working from an Inspirational image. Interesting images, randomly chosen, will be sent out to attendees a couple of days before the meeting, We hope this will give you a chance to come up with some ideas in advance. Choose any part of the image to work on, let your imagination run wild. Then at the clay day you can work on your piece. At the end of the day we will set out all finished pieces, see if we can match them to the correct image. And discuss how we got there... LPCG did this a few years back and it was great fun.
