Looking forward to a brighter 2022

It is the time of year for us to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We hope that you and your loved ones will have the opportunity to celebrate together this year.

With our last event taking place via Zoom in May, our activities during 2021 have been sadly curtailed. We were unable to use Greenside, our regular venue, as it was being used by the NHS for vaccinations and it seems that it will continue to use it for some time to come.

We hope that in 2022 we can resume face-to-face meetings, starting on 30th January, at St Judes Community Hall. We will use this venue until the NHS no longer requires Greenside. Of course, there are no guarantees while the pandemic rages. This venue offers Wi-Fi and we will be testing out Zoom to see if we can use it for future demonstrations and to allow distant members to join our meetings virtually. If you would like to be involved in our trial, please contact us on

Our first meeting will see us repeat a favourite exercise: using randomly selected pictures as inspiration for a new work. We will also have our Show and Tell table. Given how long it has been since we met, we hope to see a bumper crop of polymer works. There should be much to admire and talk about.

Find out more about our clay days on our website. Owing to the unpredictable nature of the pandemic, full refunds will be provided in the event that we have to cancel.
