Exciting News about our next Clay Day

Our next clay day will be a virtual meeting via Zoom. Fiona Able-Smith has kindly agreed for us to use one of her YouTube tutorials ‘Polymer Clay Box’. In this tutorial Fiona shares how to make a hexagonal box, using a template made from card. Then we get to learn how to make a beautiful cane to cover the box, and how to match it so that the cane pattern fits wonderfully together around the box and on the lid. The tutorial can be found here.

Instructions will be sent out on how to use Zoom, with links to how to access Zoom in advance of the day once you have purchased your ticket.

South of the River, our Croydon group, had a virtual meeting at the end of April. It worked brilliantly. Those of us there really felt like we had spent the day together. We highly recommend this as a fun way of getting together in these difficult times.

Our fee for joining in on this event is £5, this is to cover our admin fees, any excess will go to charity.

This will be a chance for people who can't get to London for the physical days to spend time getting advice and encouragement from fellow clayers as we will also hold our 'Show and Tell Virtual Table'

Tickets are limited to make the day manageable for all so we hope you will be able to join us - Click here to join us.
