Surprise Baubles by Jude

Due to very difficult unforeseen circumstances Raji was unable to offer her planned demonstration but we hope that she will be able to present it next year.

In stepped Jude Parker, who had worked hard to prepare a seasonal demo, in which she showed us how to make absolutely delightful baubles, which could be hung on the tree and opened up to reveal tiny treats.

As Kirsti's photos show the imagination of our lovely group was inspired and the results were fantastic. Many thanks to Jude for taking the lead at such short notice.

You will also note that the Show and Tell table was, as always, full of fresh surprises.

We all agreed that it was a really enjoyable day characterised by the warm and friendly LPCG atmosphere. There was a lot of sharing of resources and advice and everyone was pleased with their results - those Christmas trees are going to be special this year.

After members saw Bridget Derc's work on Facebook and at the last couple of claydays she has had numerous requests to demonstrate her technique for using cane slices to make fascinating patterns which she has agreed to demonstrate at our next Clay Day on January 27th.

There will be more info very soon but why not book your place now before the seasonal rush engulfs you? It will be a very popular day and you won't want to miss out!

The steering group would like to wish all our members a happy festive season. We look forward to seeing you in 2019.
