July Clayday coming up soon - Sunday 22 July - "A Perfect Finish"

By popular demand, this clayday will focus on how to achieve that perfect finish to your work!

We will have short demonstrations of a number of techniques, tools and materials to smooth work into the desired shape and then to polish it up to achieve the final perfect finish, whether matt or brilliant shine. Important note: Clayday is being held on 22 July, not the usual last Sunday of the month. This is to avoid the previous problems of clashing with the RideLondon cycling event.

What to bring

A number of baked but otherwise unfinished pieces to try out techniques on Any materials that you successfully use for sanding and/or buffing, to show others For show and tell - pieces where you are very satisfied with the finish, pieces where you would like some help and advice on how to finish
