Perfume purses workshop 2017
In July this year, Carol will be teaching her new Perfume Purse workshop where you will create a handy perfume holder with it’s own atomizer for that moment when you want a spray of your favourite scent.
Staedtler will be supplying all the required polymer clay for this workshop.
In class you will make several different patterned veneers and blends and learn how to assemble the purse so it can be worn as jewellery or used as an ornamental container.<
The project for this workshop is a necklace purse designed to hold a small perfume atomiser for your favourite scent or if preferred, it can just be a useful, pretty container.
We will start by making the main purse shape and while this is baking we will prepare the veneers for decorating and the component parts for assembling the purse.
In the workshop you will learn about construction of the purse and how to make the various patterns to decorate the shape.
It is a workshop that leaves plenty of freedom for you to express your creative design skills with the patterns chosen for the decoration.
Skill level - Intermediate - a working knowledge of polymer and of making a Skinner Blend is essential.
