Polymer Pictures

At this Clay Day we will be making folk-art style polymer clay pictures. There will be no step-by-step tutorial but we will be sharing tips and ideas. You decide what your picture will be. Your usual tools and equipment should be enough plus a selection of cutters if you have them.

About this event

There are lots of approaches to making a polymer picture. Bring along your ideas and have some fun playing with clay.  Bridget Derc will be acting as host and showing you how she makes her colourful works.  If you normally use a small toaster oven to cure your polymer works, you may need to consider using your kitchen oven depending on the size of your picture. Also, you may think about how you want to mount the picture. Bridget has used scrap clay to make a backing and also hardboard. If you want glue your picture to a piece of hardboard, then PVA wood glue will work. Zoom Invitation will be sent out a day or two prior to the event.
